Floyd & Howerton Plumbing began with a handshake between Morris Floyd and Joe Howerton in August of 1966. Their partnership grew into a family owned and operated plumbing business that put the highest value on quality repairs and service. In 1980 Morris Floyd retired and Joe Howerton took over full operations of the plumbing company.
Cindy (Howerton) Fulton began her work at the company when she was a teenager, helping around the office. Eventually, she took over more responsibility, and in 2000 Cindy was named President of Floyd & Howerton Plumbing. Cindy is now the qualifier on Floyd & Howerton’s license (#274886).
Joe Howerton’s oldest grandson (and Cindy’s son), Eric Fulton joined the company as Controller in 2014 after a career in the Military training military and civilian working dogs. Eric served in Iraq and Afghanistan and was a Police Officer in Atlanta and Phoenix.
Three generations of the Floyd and Howerton families have worked for the company, and today they still value family and quality service. Their employees share this commitment, with more than a third of the employees working for the company for over 10 years.
As the company grew, they expanded their service offerings throughout San Diego County and to both commercial and residential clients.
